Ashleigh’s Word of Flame

This is from my youngest daughter, Ashleigh, who never gives herself credit yet at 13 already has a gift for exhortation! Below is her kid message for our Leadership Conference. Kisha

Ashleigh’s Word of Flame, 2020

Good evening.

Giving honor to God, to presiding bishop white, Bishop Morris tellis, Bishop sesley, Bishop William Spencer, Regional Supervisors, Pastors, First Ladies, Missionaries, and Evangelists.

Isaiah 49:3-4. He said to me,” You are my servant, Israel, and you will bring me glory.” I replied.” But my work seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the Lord’s hand; I will trust God for my reward.”

This scripture tells us to do the small things that God tells us to do and trust that He will deliver the desired outcome. God told Isaiah to be his servant and restore the people of Israel to him. Isaiah felt that his work was useless but did as he was told. He said, “I will trust God for my reward”. He did what he was told. God promised that kings and princes will bow down to him.

Have faith that God will deliver your reward. Proverbs 3:9-10 says Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. Even when you give tithes and offerings god promises to reward you when you do it with a kind heart and trust in him. It may not seem like your receiving anything for your work but you are. Trust and believe. If you are working the 9-5 today, you will be the manager tomorrow. If you are painting the face of the billboard today, you will be the face tomorrow.

Thank you and have a good evening.

Ashleigh Spencer
