Speak to My Heart, Holy Spirit

This January, if you hear people say “It was a mighty move of God” or “God really moved in this place” or “God really showed up and showed out” or any variation thereof? Ask them, “But what did God SAY?”

God’s spirit never moves without speaking. (See below scriptures).

God wants to talk with you. Commune you. Give you instructions. Lead you in the path of righteousness FOR HIS NAME SAKE. God doesn’t have time for the infinite loop of the saints getting stuck in the physical and emotional response to what they have called the presence. There is work to be done that requires a WORD from the Lord—some direct instruction not marred or messed up by man’s perspective, point of view, pain, or personal motives.

After you’ve sung, danced, shouted, spoken in tongues, wept, and passed out: WHAT DID GOD SAY?

I pray that the Lord speaks to your heart and that you listen. That you commune with Him in a way that opens up the revelation you need to walk out this life of abundance. In Jesus name.

Scriptural references

Genesis 1:2-3 (but read the whole thing, though) “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

I King 19:11-13
“And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

Exodus 3:2-6
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.”

2 Samuel 2:7-14
“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind. And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.”
