So one of my favorite current poets is Nayirah Waheed. She is an internet poet, and has only published two books of poetry: salt and Nejma. Totally worth the price.
“The color of low self esteem” is my second favorite. My favorite one sums up why I write and why I am learning boundaries, why I am learning to say no. It is entitled “split:”

Thanks for those two great poems 😊🙏I have a similar reason for my writing passion.
About the “split”: In my opinion, due to cultural notions of good and evil we are sort of broken in two. Coming to terms with the “evil” part is important for our healing processes and therefore we may need a holistic worldview.
