I am a follower of introspectives. I like people who think deeply about things—especially when the wisdom of God flows through their thought process. Pastor Hart Ramsey is one of them. “I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.” Job 3:26 (NLT)
👤During his legendary trial, Job confessed that his back to back losses and the sudden turn of events in his life had caused him to become restless inside.
👤It is not uncommon for the enemy to attack your peace right before (or during) a major breakthrough or blessing in your life.
👤Relationship turmoil, financial struggles, overwork, & uncertainty are all tools the enemy uses to make you feel like GOD has forgotten you or is punishing you.
👤Well He hasn’t. And He isn’t. You’re being tested. And the only way through the test is to trust GOD.
So, here’s the prescription:
(1) Spend more time reading targeted verses in the Bible that highlight GOD’S faithfulness & love.
(2) Be prayerful. Pray grateful, honest, and specific prayers asking for what you need. Don’t rush your prayer time.
(3) Declare your desired outcome. Don’t keep saying where you are. Say where you’re going.
(4) Resist temptation. Stand against the devil’s invitation to ease your pain with out-of-bounds pleasures.
👤Remember this: loss of peace feels like emotional pain. It also manifests as worry, obsession, and anger.
You’re NOT crazy! You’re in a TRIAL.

If you’re feeling this way? Check what’s happening. Maybe you aren’t in pain. Maybe it’s just a disturbance of your peace to soon pass. The prescription has to fit the ailment.
