STOP QUOTING THE MISQUOTED!
The adage is: the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb—not blood is thicker than water. The original is all about how family isn’t always where your connections are, not family over everything! Even Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who is my brother?” Then proceeded to connect himself to those who believed.
The quote is not a jack of all trades but a master of none— it is “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” It was a compliment! Y’all got folks outchea feeling useless and purposeless when God gave them 5 talents to your 1.
The word doesn’t say: money is the root of all evil! 1 Timothy 6:10 states, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” The word says money answers allllll things; and that we are supposed to be lenders and not borrowers. So how is it that having money is wrong? It’s the putting it above God that’s the issue.

STOP QUOTING THE MISQUOTED!
People don’t always land scripture properly and that’s their worry; your concern is to try every spirit by the spirit of God which includes how the word is quoted and understood by YOU first. WORDS MATTER: how they are said, what is actually said, and the context in which they were said. Or written.
Read the word for yourself. 🥰
