There’s a difference between true connection and seeking constant validation everywhere. What happens when the crowd no longer receives your message?

When Jesus told the multitude “unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood…”, most of them walked away–so many that Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Will you leave, too?” Had his ministry been predicated on people hyping him up, we wouldn’t have the message we preach today.

Learn to live past “people”. Know to whom God has connected you and with whom you just share commonalities. You’ll thank me later.
