Decided to take the whirl since I’ve been skimping on writing poetry! This once is my take on an interlocking or interconnecting ruba’i. Basically it’s an AABA BBCB CCAC.

No graphic today because I’m procrastinating and am about to go write a paper on systems thinking.

A mute shadow now casted fore
The moon rising higher than before
Between the soft and thick of us
Time and space broken never more

Between the soft and thick of us
Hearts caught between what is what was
I throw my weight in line with you
Your life now mine and treated thus

None could come between nor undo
Time and space broken never more 
Eternal one joined from the two
