The word I heard in the spirit today is submission!

Submission requires you to be obedient. It requires you to do things the way the leader would have them done. You cannot do what you wanna do if you are submitted. You literally ask: “what am I supposed to do?” because you fully trust the leader and you KNOW the leader’s heart and mind are for your benefit (Hebrews 13:17; Matthew 25:14-30).

Many folks “confessing” Christ aren’t really in the body of Christ because they want a Savior but not a Lord. They want Jesus to save em but not control em. They want Jesus to help them but not lead them. They literally want the benefit of the kingdom of heaven without the leadership of the King.

Newsflash: that’s not how ANY OF THIS WORKS. If you do not submit fully to the will of God you are operating in open rebellion, which is as bad as witchcraft (I Samuel 15:23).

I pray today that those who declare with their lips that Jesus is their Lord and Savior believe it in their hearts and choose to walk in submission to the spirit of God. I pray that spiritual wickedness be brought down under submission to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and that hearts are brought into obedience to God in the NAME of Jesus Christ.
