Kindness, Clarity, and Encouragement – #99

Regret is a dangerous thing.

I am guilty of always performing autopsies and cold case investigations on things in my life that didn’t go as planned. Especially as I get older, the tendency to obsess over the shoulda coulda woulda has been absolutely debilitating at certain points.

What I have begun to understand and remind myself is this: GRACE in all things. I’m learning to stop condemning myself for knowledge that I have now that I didn’t have then. And even with all that? God knows my end from my beginning, so He has already accounted for every step, misstep, and misdirect.

If you spend all your time looking backward, guess what? You’ll end up going that way. Stay focused on what’s in front of you.
