So. let’s talk about WHO I AM! 😫

There are many things in life we really be swearing we NEED. But we don’t even be needing em. We just want em cuz that’s how humans is built: to be wanty. You know how it goes—lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, pride of life. We DECIDE something is good to have because it looks good and seems like it is a good move and will make us better somehow. So then we begin to PINE after it.

That’s called lust.

God made us to desire, but the desire is for HIS will to be done. Because in His Will is every spiritual blessing in heavenly places without the pinch pull and pain of lack and desperation—that unpleaaant feeling which is lust. Lust comes from trying to get God’s stuff our way—especially when the stuff we trying to get ain’t for us to have in that moment!

We must wait for what we have been promised with joyful knowing that HE GIVES GOOD THINGS TO HIS CHILDREN. Nonstoppedly. HE WITHHOLDS NO GOOD THING FROM US. Indubitably. HE HAS A PLAN TO BRING US TO AN EXPECTED END. Regardlessly. HIS LOVE IS EVERLASTING AND HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER. Immutably. HE SWORE THESE THINGS BY HIS OWNSELF. Faithfully.

So. Yeah. Being wanty is just a way for the enemy of our souls to distract us from the goodness of God in the land of the living.

Say it with me: I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED. And if I don’t have it right now, I don’t need it right now because God supplies ALL MY NEEDS according to HIS riches in glory (for me) In Christ Jesus.
