Get to Know Me; I’m Amazing.

I am Kisha.

I am a daughter of the Most High God, a child of the King. I love the Lord and Jesus Christ is the only way as far as I am concerned. If that’s not your belief system, this blog is probably going to be a bit uncomfortable for you–and that’s okay. I spend a lot of my time learning about other people’s cultures and beliefs so that I won’t be a total jerk.

I am Kisha.

I am the wife of a Bishop, the mother of 2 girls now teenagers, and the daughter of one mom, two days. I am a big sister, an auntie, a cousin, and friend. At my core, I am a writer, and my anointing is in learning and simplifying so that others can easily access the information. I can see what God says to me. My greatest pleasure when dealing with other people is to watch them get an understanding–there’s a look when they recognize the sound, no matter what it is: a math problem, a reading passage, the word of God. So my metron is teaching. My most intimate moments are when I can sing before the Lord. It’s usually private, but every once in a while I have to sing in public. It’s a privilege that I don’t take lightly, and it’s a deeply private way of living that I guard ferociously.

I am Kisha.

I like cookies, and playgrounds, and starry nights, and learning new things, and praying, and writing. I am learning to love making videos. Learning to love the sound of my own voice, learning to love the random thoughts that I don’t get to write down–enough to record myself.

I am Kisha.

Eyes haven’t seen, ears heard, neither has it entered even into my own heart the blessing that God has for me. I’m looking forward to an upward experience.
