The atmosphere is full of messages about being YOURSELF and staying within your metron—DESPITE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO GET YOU TO DO AND SPEAK TO. 🗣🗣🗣
Metron: your measure or portion; colloquially: sphere of influence (gifting, talents, skills, and anointing)
As the Lord Jesus is getting closer to return, He is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle. That spot or stain is sin; but that wrinkle? Well. 🙃 That wrinkle is the incongruent state we often find ourselves in trying to NOT BE who we’ve been called to be and working desperately to try and be what we are not.
The BIBLE says (in my Bishop TD Jakes voice😂) all glory is due to the One who is able to keep us from falling (there’s that sin) AND to present us to Himself without fault with GREAT JOY😏 (Jude 1:24). What fault? It also tells us to lay aside the sin (of course!) AND weight that so easily trips us up. What weight? When you put down all the things that keep you from BEING YOU? You’ve labored into the rest reserved for His kids.
Pursue true HOLINESS (set apart, uniqueness, shalom, integrity of being), so that you can see God: in you and in others in the land of the living.
Living a life more purposeful gives God full glory.
